is CEO and founder of Girl Get Your Fight Back organization, an organization that motivates and trains individuals in developing winning strategies to succeed on all levels of their lives.  She is noted for her annual “Rock’n the Runway” fashion show which heightens breast cancer awareness in the urban community and donates a portion of the proceeds to various breast cancer and health organizations yearly.

Prior to her role as Assistant Pastor, her foundation was laid as she served under the Honorable Bishop Horace E. Smith, MD in Chicago, IL.  Pastor Veverly then served her husband as the Youth President under Pastor Donald O. Tyler in Tulsa Ok., and then in Las Vegas, Nevada Pastor Veverly closely assisted her husband as he served as the Youth pastor under Bishop Clinton House.

In 2004 she pastored with her husband in Kansas City, Kansas.  In July 2006 she and her husband were called by God to relocate to carry on the Legacy of her husband’s grandfather, the late Bishop William C. Abney in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  She currently assists her husband through strategic planning, ministerial support, teaching, training, and she empowers a tremendous group of women in their church and community.

Pastor Veverly earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University.  She earned her MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Illinois. Pastor Veverly earned her second Master’s degree at Cornerstone University in Urban Ministry Leadership.

She is a native of Chicago, the beautiful and highly esteemed wife of Lead Pastor Jathan Austin and devoted mother of three sons, Trenton, Kyle, and Jaiden, and one beautiful daughter Alexandria.
